Automobiles, one of the most important inventions in the world and indispensable to modern people, continue to evolve day by day.

Turing is publishing this important resource as it marks its 97th year of serving the public interest. The first book of the series, planned as three different volumes, is titled "Automobile in Ottoman Istanbul." It covers articles on transportation, the invention of the automobile, and the history of automobiles centered in Istanbul during the Ottoman period.

The work, which emerged after years of scanning primary sources such as archives, press, and memoirs, and utilizing previous research in the field, has also been enriched with visual materials.
